Leonard Fein is the founder (and editor for 12 years) of Moment magazine, of Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger and of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy, and is a writer and teacher. Among other topics, his books have dealt with Israeli politics, America's Jews, public education. He taught at MIT and Brandeis and writes a weekly OpEd column in the Forward.
