Blackmail and Extortion
Standing In Front of God With Integrity (Part 1)

Friday 8:35 AM–9:50 AM Buckingham Palace Main 1   Other sessions at this time
Text & Thought
Imagine blackmailing God or questioning His/Her moral standards while standing in front of the Divine!

Is there anything that you desire in your life which would push you in this direction? How did Channa, Shmuel's mother, claim what was hers (Brachote 31b)? How would you?

An open heart and mind seasoned with honesty are required for this session.

Denominationalism or Post-Denominationalism?
Sunday 8:35 AM–9:50 AM Camelot A   Other sessions at this time
Panels
Are the denominations splintering or is the Jewish community coming together? What’s the role of denominations in American Jewish life, and is it changing? Why? What’s the attraction of post-denominationalism?
Fasting or Feasting
Standing In Front of God With Integrity (Part 3)

Sunday 3:00 PM–4:15 PM Camelot A   Other sessions at this time
Text & Thought
What would it feel like to walk in the presence of God in the midst of darkness? Is it possible to mourn in the midst of festivities? What is your primary disposition? Can one shift between worlds and what would it take? Decoding God’s divine sign language as garmented by Mordechai, Ester & Haman are essential in our exploration. How do you masquerade your way through life?
Righteous Indignation and Abandonment
Standing In Front of God With Integrity (Part 2)

Saturday 11:30 AM–12:45 PM Buckingham Palace Main 1   Other sessions at this time
Text & Thought
In the face of terror and betrayal, how do you respond? Fight or flee? How can one maintain a relationship with God when God is the source of this pain?

The Piasetzna rebbe (the "Warsaw ghetto" rebbe) challenges us with such interpretations of the Akeida.

Is, or can, “NO” be an answer? Have you/would you use it when facing God? And are we always alone in God’s presence?
